Göynük Canyon Tour
A tall gorge filled with turquoise streams and waterfalls, Sapadere Canyon (Sapadere Kanyonu or Sapadere Kanyon) is a retreat into nature in the Turkish Riviera. Formed centuries ago by erosion from water and ice, it stands 360 meters long and nearly 400 meters high. Fresh air breezes through the canyon, filled with the sounds of rushing water and wildlife such as butterflies and birds. Once unknown outside of locals, facilities were only recently built to welcome visitors from all over Turkey and the world. A natural wooden path curves through the park, at times leading to pools for swimming (especially welcome in the summer heat.) High rocks and the Torsos mountains scenically surround you as you walk through. At the end of the path is the canyon’s most impressive waterfall, which also has a spot ideal for swim in the clear waters. The nearby Sapadere Village is also worth a stop.
Escape the warm, humid coast of Alanya for a day and enjoy a sightseeing tour of the Sapadere Canyon. The Sapadere canyon located approx. 40 km from Alanya City offers tourists a chance of hiking through the Taurus Mountains and enjoying the scenic scenery along with a network of well-maintained wooden pathways. Departures from hotels in the province of Alanya and travel to the cooling Canyon for the start of a 7-hour guided tour including a traditional lunch in Sapadere.
Experience the cool mountain breeze and wonder at the sheer beauty of nature. During the 750-meter comfortable stroll, several cascades flow through the rock cascades. Pace you to the end of the canyon to see Sapadere’s most stunning waterfall. Step into and dive in cold ice water if you’re feeling brave! You will visit the cave of Guceler (Dwarfs) during this journey. The Stalagmites and Stalactites creation will be an interesting experience.
